Don't stop praying now. The doctor pre- dicted Ela would have multiple complica- tions and would re- quire breathing sup- port. Tonight the doctor told us that Ela has proven his prophecy false, and that therefore we must stone him. Both of Ela's lungs are working. Her vitals are perfect. She still has a lot of junk in her lungs, but her respiratory stats are gliding within normal range. She probably has pneumonia, but they don't expect it to last for long. "She's just getting better all by herself," the doctor said. "Without any help from us." I reckon that's a bit of an exaggeration. Still...

I'm been so busy shutting down Subversive Christianity that I haven't checked in here for a couple of days. God be with all of you. Many prayers going up on this end!
Thom, congrats to both you guys. Childbirth is simply amazing, isn't it? Impossible to narrow emotions into words. My daughter was born with maconium as well. She was born with a breathing apnea which caused her to stay in NICU for 11 days. It was quite scary but she now is the most energetic little 3 year old I have ever come across. Beautiful little girl.
Congrats again. Try to get a good night sleep now before the baby comes home! :-)

hi i dont know you guys at all but i typed my name in google to see what would come up and i saw a picture of this little baby and it said 'the doctors predicted Ela would have multiple..' and I wanted to read more .I pressed on the link and i read on I was realy touched by what has been writen in support for Ela and I dont know if Ela is still alive but I hope and pray that she is....
