On Friday my sister Megan (Ela's Tía Meg) had a movie & bonfire party. The movie featured was Hook. To make it more interesting everyone was invited to dress up as one of the characters and the winner was to receive a prize. Here's Ela's costume, custom made by Tia Meg:

He obviously won. But Ela would have won for cutest costume.


Then on Saturday was my dad's (Ela's Abuelito) birthday party. Since it was September 15th (the Eve of Mexico's Independence Day), Ela wore the little Mexican dress from Carrie. Here's Ela admiring the birthday cake:
